The place has indoor and outdoor seating. The mutton's heart is tasty well done. The meat satay is not grilled long enough to get the burned smells. The curry is a little too sweet. The service is fast .
View on GoogleThe food was good and well-seasoned. There was no annoying smell from the meat at all; I enjoyed it till the last bite. However, when I visited for lunch, the place was kind of humid and hot. Parking was easy when I went there. Payment by QR, cash, and transfer only.
View on GoogleImpressive presentation. Sate on a hot plate. Come with peanut and sweet sauce, and shallot, chili, and tomatoes. Complimentary hot tea to go along with the sate. Their mini otak-otak are very tasty. Sudden downpour not good while sitting at outdoor tent. Staff are very attentive and helpful.
View on GoogleLocal friend said that this place is very famous and has been around for over 50years. So we definitely had to give it a try. First of all the open coal grill outside gave the place a nice atmosphere, inside is decorated with all the famous people that has eaten there before. Apparently 6 of the 7 presidents of Indonesia has eaten there. The kebabs looked awesome when they arrived. With bits of meat and juicy fat. The taste was underwhelming, mutton was soft but not as tasty as the Chinese street food beef kebabs with cumin. The only thing that was really good was the leaf wrapped rice cakes. Those were super delicious. They also don’t serve any form of carbonated drink. So opted for fresh orange juice, which was not fresh as they advertised. Mutton curry was full of bones so you hardly get any meat. Apparently the place was not cheap either. We also saw a couple of cockroaches running along the walls behind the picture frames. I’m sure there is a whole family of them since the whole place is covered in frames. Unless you local, this place I wouldn’t recommend to tourists. Just because the place has been around for more than 50 years does not mean the food is up to started in these times.
View on GoogleThe satay, both lamb and beef, were really good. It came with soy sauce (with shallot and chili) and peanut sauce on the side. The meat was big and tasty. Parking spot for cars are plenty in front of the shop, no need to worry.
