Came in at around 1PM and the parking spot was fully packed, so we had to go out and find another parking spot a bit far away from the restaurant. We were told that their last order is 2.30, and by 3pm everything should already be cleared out. What we ordered was klassieke stamppot and bistik oma elsje. The beef tasted good, a bit tough to chew for some parts, but my favorite was their mashed potatoes! Its very flavorful and the star of the dish for sure. The klassieke stamppot is also pretty good, tho their sausage was not that special in terms of flavoring. What we liked the most was the poffertjes! We ordered it with speculoos and butterscotch sauce. Didnt expect we could just eat it all in one sitting, it felt so light and everything tasted perfect together. The staffs were really nice. We initially were seated outside and we requested to be seated inside when theres a space available. They accommodate it and was very helpful. Overall, I would definitely come back to try more of their desserts!

First time visit Place is cozy, warm, not stiffy-elegant-like, services are good, homey, while keeping their professionalism intact. Good place for hanging out with family, friends, or your beloved one, to enjoy nostalgic feels with modern touch. Food : all good in my opinion, true almost all the foods has a hint of sweetness while keeping the balanced taste, savory and quite delish. Except for the rawon i think....kinda thick with a strong taste of sweetness....more like of a sweet stew than a rawon i know. Coffee : baileys caffe latte is superb, not too sweet, not too creamy, fragrant, and it's the real baileys....not a cheap-fake-baileys' essence....very impressed. Other drink also good. Price : okaayy, regular coffee is still affordable, like capuccino or latte priced around IDR 45-50k, baileys caffe latte priced at IDR 85k. While food, the main menu start from around IDR 85k and above. While snacks start from IDR 45k if i'm not mistaken. Welp....kinda overbudget for me, but once in a while would be okay, and luckily it's not disapointing. Parking lot : not much...around 10-12 cars but you can still park not too far from there. Overall : it's satisfying, services are good, place is nice, and it has a history, taste good overall, good place and reccomended at least once for a while for me heheheh

I walked in on a weekday evening without a reservation and was seated right away. Dining alone, I ordered two dishes and a drink: Elsje Rissole, Hachee met Hutspot, and Elsje Chocolate. The Elsje Chocolate was tasty, though fairly standard. The two dishes were the highlight — the rissole in particular. Between the friendly staff, reasonable prices, the food, and the atmosphere, this felt like an ideal place to enjoy Dutch home cooking. Recommended.

Really enjoyed the food here overall. The klassieke bitterballen were good and the sauce paired nicely. The tenderloin steak was especially delicious, very tender and flavorful, though I wish the sauce portion was slightly more generous. The hachee met hutspot was okay, with fairly tender meat, although the hutspot itself tasted more like plain mashed potato to me. Usually hutspot has a bit more flavor. The aligot van Elsje was yummy with lots of cheese, and the truffle aligot was also very enjoyable. Poffertjes were delicious too, personally I preferred the original version without chocolate sauce or ice cream. The hot melkchocolade was really good as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere felt cozy and homey, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

I really enjoyed exploring the appetizers, but the Rundvleeskroket was hands-down the highlight for me. The staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful, and their cute uniforms just add the perfect touch to the experience. It can get a bit 'bustling' and crowded on the weekends, so if you're like me and prefer a bit more breathing room, a weekday visit is definitely the way to go!
