Tanatap Braga hits different compared to the Matraman outlet—it feels more intimate, more textured, and more tied to its surroundings. Sitting along Braga Street, the whole experience carries that old-meets-new energy. Colonial street outside, modern café inside. The space itself leans more compact but layered. Two levels, a mix of cozy corners and open seating, with a strong visual identity—vinyl displays, spiral staircase, dim warm lighting. It’s aesthetic, but not in a loud way. More like quiet character. Coffee is solid. Smooth, well-balanced, and clearly one of their strengths. Some signature drinks like pandan coffee stand out for being slightly different but still easy to drink. Food is decent—comfort café level. A few dishes hit, a few feel standard, but nothing offensive. What makes this place work is the vibe: • good for slow mornings • late night catch-ups • people watching from inside looking out to Braga It’s less “airy and open” like Matraman, and more “moody and urban.” Downside? • can get packed, especially weekends • some seating areas feel tight or slightly uncomfortable

★★★★☆ Visited **Tanatap Coffee** and overall it was a good experience. The place is spacious, comfortable, and has a nice atmosphere to hang out or work. Prices are pretty standard for a cafe like this. The only downside is the restroom situation. For a place this large, there’s only one toilet and it’s shared for both men and women. It can get inconvenient, especially when the cafe is busy. Other than that, the place is great and still worth visiting. ☕✨

Aesthetic Vibe Mezzanine Cozy for Hangout, Jujurly Guys, if you’re looking for the ultimate spot to *nongkrong* with your squad, this place is an absolute vibe! From the moment you walk in, every single corner is ridiculously *aesthetic* and majorly Instagrammable. But the real star? That fantastic mezzanine level. For those of us who still enjoy a smoke while catching up, it’s literally the perfect, cozy setup to chill for hours. The menu is super complete—they’ve got a wide range of coffee blends, gorgeous desserts that taste as good as they look, and a very respectable lineup of Western staples. *Enak banget!* My only minor note is the coffee bar area. It felt a bit *sepi*. With only one or two baristas working when we visited, the heart of the cafe lacked that vibrant, buzzing energy you’d expect. Still, it’s a solid 4-star destination. Definitely *wajib coba* for your next weekend hangout!

A very comfortable place for WFC. The atmosphere is calm, there are plenty of seating options, and the lighting is good enough for long hours of work. The internet connection is stable, power outlets are available in several areas, and the staff is very friendly and responsive. The coffee is delicious and the food menu is quite varied at affordable prices. It's perfect for working on assignments, online meetings, or just for productive work. I'll definitely be back for WFC here again.

We came here for breakfast around 10 am on a Saturday and it was a pleasant experience overall. One thing I really appreciated was that we didn’t have to wait for a table at all. Despite it being the weekend, the place wasn’t overly crowded, which made our breakfast feel relaxed and unhurried. The waiting time for food was also reasonable, around 15 minutes, which is quite good considering it was peak breakfast timing. The restaurant has two levels of seating, giving plenty of space for guests. Both levels were clean and well-maintained, toilet at level 2 and the overall environment felt comfortable and welcoming. It’s a nice spot to sit down and enjoy a proper breakfast without feeling rushed. For drinks, we ordered a Caramel Macchiato and a Strawberry Tea. The Strawberry Tea was refreshing and enjoyable, while the Caramel Macchiato was definitely my favourite : smooth, well-balanced and honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. For food, we tried Nasi Goreng Mawut, Nasi Goreng Merah, Tanatap Bakmie Ayam and Nasi Ayam Charsiu. Some dishes were just okay and fairly standard but the standout for us was definitely the Nasi Goreng Mawut. It was flavourful, satisfying and easily the best dish we ordered. The Nasi Ayam Charsiu and Bakmie Ayam were decent, though nothing too memorable. Overall, it was a good breakfast experience with fast service, a clean and comfortable setting and a few standout items. I would come back again, especially for the Nasi Goreng Mawut and the drinks.
