It's a good museum that tells you a history about west java's military soldiers from time to time. A good health protocol of covid-19 is applied here, so you will feel safe..

Informations about the history of the Siliwangi Division are very thorough. Through pictures and tools that the soldiers used in putting down the rebellions against Indonesia after the independecy of the country in 1945. We can't take any pictures inside the museum, but we can mindfully enjoy the museum. We can also ask for the soldiers to explain the historical events recorded there. The collections are well cared for, but many of the paintings are quite damaged, and many of the frames are still made of styrofoam. The entrance fee is not specific. It's just as much as you want to give

I lived near the museum for a long time when I was in college but had never thought of visiting. However, now that I've had a chance to actually visit the museum, I definitely recommend you come. While the museum was not large or modern, it offered a complete history of Mandala Siliwangi and even the era before the independence of Indonesia. I especially appreciated the enthusiasm of the guide. The guide was an active soldier, which made sense since the museum housed the history of Indonesian soldiers and their efforts to guard this country. We scheduled an hour visit, but two and a half hours passed, and we were still immersed in the historical events marked by the various items shown in the museum. Oh, and you are not allowed to take any pictures or videos inside the museum. There is no entrance fee, but you can leave a donation for maintenance.
