I think everyone should visit this place at least once in their life because, well, it’s legendary. The service was extraordinary. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The food, as expected, was amazing, especially the bitterballen. I recommend sitting at an outdoor table so you can enjoy the street atmosphere, which feels like stepping back into colonial times. Will definitely come back on another occasion.
View on GoogleVery poor for the very high price. I sat in the non smoking area and there was zero atmosphere. First the order was incorrect but they fixed this. I ordered a steak medium cooked. The mashed potatoes were cold, veg was ok but the steak was way undercooked (was cooked rare). The pepper sauce was a gelatinous mess. I wouldn’t go again and cannot recommend.
View on GoogleService and atmosphere were good. Food is reasonably priced but quality was only so so, had the oxtail soup which was good but a little salty. Lobster pasta was good but lobster was a bit overcooked which made it tough. Otherwise not bad overall.
View on GoogleIt’s been 2 years since my last visit, so things might be different now. But, the place IS good. Believe me, it’s worth your time. Whilst might be not too suitable for let’s say kids or toddler particularly - as in the outdoor area, smoking is permissible, you can choose the indoor area instead - overall it’s still good for family occasions. The place has long history, hence the menu covers vast numbers of western/European, Chinese, and Indonesian foods and beverages. In my last visit, I had Lontong Cap Go Meh, although it was in October and CNY was long way gone, bitterballen, and classic chiffon cake plus watermelon juice. No single food or drink failed. The lontong is good, really good. It came with slightly too generous portion, with the lontong was properly handled, the aroma from the banana leaves was still lingering, tender yet still retaining the texture, not too dry made it easy to chew. The coconut milk soup was savory without being too salty. The other ingredients were also great and made the food wholesome. But to me, the bitterballen was the star. The slight bitter and savory balls were almost too good to be true. The dough and the ground beef meet and the seasoning were perfectly mixed. As for other aspect, Braga Permai was also not disappointing. Service was good, the staffs were helpful. Payment was easy as cash and non-cash payment methods were available. Access was easy as it was located on the bustling Braga street, just minutes away from Bandung Train Station and city center. Very, very recommended.
View on GoogleThe food here is good. When weekend they have live music as well and you can request or jam. They are really handling the food well so that the taste is premium in affordable price. I taste their bone marrow and it is really well cooked with savoury spices. Their zuppa soup is great too. And their bitterballen is amazing. When i order spaghetti truffle the truffle taste and smell is amazing and taste really delicious. Located in braga street bandung you can enjoy the food, live music, and the crowd of braga street.
