Absolutely incredible! This is some of the best meat I’ve ever had. The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly charred on the stone, not dry at all. We also loved the es podeng. The service was friendly and fast, making it a perfect spot for dinner. Highly recommended!

This place is located within a small housing compound and, as such, parking could be a challenge. They ran out of the meaty lamb legs when we arrived so we tried ribs instead which are supposed to contain much more fats and turned out to be rightfully so. If you've tried real Egyptian cuisine before (or Mediterranean), you'll realize that this isn't one. Other dishes such as lamb fried rice and tongseng (traditional stewed lamb) were pretty nice albeit too sweet to my liking. Order their grilled upper rack (backbone) if you fancy bone marrow.

The Champion for Kambing-Bakar. This one in Gegerkalong is the very first one in Bandung, for "Kambing-Bakar" Cairo. Me myself, with members of my family were among the early constant costumers years ago, when this place just started. My wife, brother-in-law, and myself are the very first costumers on it's day-1 after opening. Forget the parking, forget the place, but let's focus on it's food. The food, specially it's identity product "Kambing Bakar" is fantastic. The person who pioneered this bussines is a guy of true Arabic descendant, and he had an authentic Arabic recipe Price will be reasonable as these are really made from true "kambing-muda". In fact, nobody can offer any "Kambing Bakar" which as the same taste, the same portion-size, and the same price, as compared to what any other places can offer. I am NOT doing an advert for Rumah Makan Kambing Bakar Cairo, but I'm just sharing the facts beyond.

My first meal in 2023! Came here with my aunt and the foods tasted good as I usually knew. Their Nasi Goreng Kambing and Kambing Bakar are always top on my list!

Tender and no pungent taste as you'd normally find in lamb..however there is no great sambal or sauce as the good companion of the lamb makes it less perfect
