View on GoogleI recently dined at Sushi Hiro at Paris Van Java outlet and I was truly impressed by the experience. The ambiance is warm and modern, with wooden touches, soft lighting, and a cozy layout that balances sophistication with approachability. The menu offers an extensive selection of sushi, sashimi, maki, and creative Japanese fusion dishes. Some standouts included Aburi Beef Onsen Egg Roll, Hotate Uni, and the signature Sushi Stairs presentation, which adds a playful, elegant touch to the meal. Food quality felt consistently fresh and well crafted. Service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening, making recommendations without being pushy, and ensuring the dining pace felt comfortable rather than rushed. Prices lean toward the premium side, but given the ambiance, presentation, and food quality, I feel the value is fair. Sushi Hiro delivers not just dishes, but a complete dining experience — ideal for special dinners, dates, or when you want something beyond everyday sushi. If I were to visit again, I’d like to explore their omakase setings or more of their “bomb” sushi creations.
View on GoogleAlways love the ambience, nice service and great food! Love the sushi and my personal favorite Salmon Chirashi 🩷
View on Google⭐️ What We Ordered - Edamame → Okay, just like most edamame. - Chuka Kurage → The taste was a bit lacking, and the texture wasn’t great either. - Mini Salmon Mentai Chirashi → Turns out it really is super mini, but it tastes so good! As a mentai lover, I could tell the mayo was legit (not the cheap kind, lol) and the salmon was delicious. I’d give it 9/10. - Salmon Belly Chirashi → Fresh and tasty, not as heavy as the mentai one. - Salmon Crunchy Roll → Good, but not mind-blowingly good. The sushi pieces were quite big though, which was nice. - Chicken Nanban → Affordable and surprisingly delicious. The nanban sauce wasn’t too strong (nyengat, i hate the nanban yang rasa nanbannya nyengat dan ends up not enjoyable) — just creamy and well-balanced. Definitely 9/10. ✅ Pros - The salmon was fresh, and most of the dishes we ordered tasted great. - Beautiful plating — looked almost identical to the photos on the menu. ❌ Cons - The food took forever to come out. We ended up spending over an hour from start to finish just waiting — around 20 minutes for edamame and 45 minutes for the main dishes. (So yeah, don’t come here if you’re starving 😅) - I expected more from the Chuka Kurage — as a big fan of Sushi T**’s version, this one was way below expectations. - No red pickled ginger, which my partner really loves.
