Alam Sunda is one of my favourite spots to enjoy truly authentic Sundanese cuisine. The moment I step inside, I’m greeted by the warm aroma of freshly cooked dishes and the familiar sound of traditional music. The flavours are bold yet comforting — perfectly seasoned sambal, tender fried fish, and crispy tempeh that always hit the spot. It feels like tasting the heart of West Java on a plate. Dining here never fails to remind me why I love Sundanese food so much.

29/11/2023 One of the best sundanesse simple resto. So many food variant. The sambal is very hot delicious n unique. Chilli n all onion still in piece. Free flow sambal n lalapan. Super crowded at lunch time even at weekdays. Hard to find car parking.

My first time dining in Alam Sunda, and it will be my last time. I tried it just to satisfy my curiosity. Either I don't understand the restaurant system, or the system is actually messy. From the process of taking food, then the staff will count the order, which wastes a lot of time when the order paper that has been counted by the staff is piled up to be collected first. This really makes the process longer! Then the order paper is distributed to other sections such as the Soup section, fried section, stir-fried and grilled sections. This makes the waiting time very long!

The food really really delicious and my fav is sambal goang.. even not too spicy but loves it.. The shrimp best and cruchy.. love the food but not the place because really hot and always full..sometimes we need to queue if wanna dine in here..

Went here with a group of 3. Just take the side plate and choose your meat/vege. Pass it to the server lady and she will count and give the receipt. Find your seat and wait for them to serve u while they fry or grill the meat according to preference. Remember that it's common for Sunda warungs to give complimentary tea for every guests. Pay after u eat. The food is very delicious with the sambal. Do not come on weekends, crazy queue. Highly recommended and can search them on tiktok. Will come back again if I'm in Bandung!
