Bu Imas' food stall is definitely one of the must-try destinations in Bandung. If you go there, be prepared for a waiting list to find a seat. All the food is recommended, especially the spicy sambal that will whet your appetite. It's perfect for eating with family or friends.

This place is a MUST whenever I visit Bandung! I ordered nasi with fried chicken and a side of tempe bacem, tahu goreng, perkedel jagung, and jukut goreng. When eaten altogether it tastes amazing. The different flavors and textures like the crispy jukut goreng and the juicy ayam goreng paired with the sambal will have you finishing your plate clean!

This place is basically a Sundanese institution. If you grew up in Bandung, there’s a high chance you’ve sat at one of their tables at some point in your life. On this one street alone, there are at least four branches, and all of them are packed every single day. That says something. I’ve been coming here since I was in elementary school because my school was nearby. My grandma and my mom used to bring me, so the nostalgia hits hard. People like to say the taste isn’t the same anymore, that it’s not as special as it used to be. For me, it still hits exactly the same. Still tasty, still comforting, still satisfying in the most Sundanese way possible. Their big three are non-negotiable: sambal dadak, karedok leunca, and ayam bakar. If you don’t order those, then you’re doing Ibu Imas wrong. But there’s more to explore. Their usus goreng is crispy and addictive, otak sapi goreng is flavorful, pepes always fragrant, perkedel jagung warm and homey, paru goreng tasty, and jukut goreng surprisingly solid. Warung Nasi Ibu Imas isn’t just a meal. It’s a Bandung staple, a memory keeper, and a guaranteed good time for anyone craving Sundanese comfort food done right.

Very crowded but I know why, with reasonable waiting time. Their food is the best! Portion was unbelievably big with an affordable price. Totally must try.
