One of the most well known culinary spot in a Bandung, and I think while the food is okay there are some issues. First, there is not a lot of parking space available. And when you do find a space to park, when approaching this resto from afar at lunch you will see a crowd of people forming a line to eat at this place. The line moves at a decent pace, and you are given the menu to write down your order while queuing in line. When it is your turn, you follow one of the waiter to your table. If you are seated upstairs, sometimes you can queue again on the stairs but the area is more wide and open and while there is no AC, its not as hot as you might think. However after submitting the form, it took 30 or more minutes for the food to arrive. The waiters look tired and some (understandably) is cranky. We ordered The Ayam Bakar, Ayam Goreng, Kikil, and their famous Jukur Goreng. And honestly, the food is pretty good. But erverything is incredibly oily. Portions are okay and price is fair. So is this place worthed? While the food is good I think you can find similar tasting dishes on less crowded places somewhere in Bandung. So I probably won’t be back.

Great grilled chicken. Good chili, great with the chicken and rice, but tasted nothing out of the ordinary. Place is crowded even on a regular weekday, and is bustling. Ordering is done via an order paper and payment is done via that paper handed to the cashier. Place is also pretty big, with another location available nearby, and staff are very nice and pretty quick with the food. Parking is 5k which is pretty expensive for the area. Would probably not return but worth a try!

they sell sunda dishes. they have chicken, fish, soup, tofu, tempe, and others. the place is huge but it's also full of people. your order comes with free sambal or chili paste, and veggie platter. the fried chicken is good. it's tasty and tender. they have fried jukut which is watercress. the portion is large but it's quite salty. their sayur asem is such a let down. it's supposed to be hot and sour, but it's cold and too sweet. it's not fresh at all. the staffs are all busy so it's hard to call them if you need something. one thing that you may want to consider, the price is cheap. it's affordable to eat here.

Warung Nasi Ibu Imas is the absolute holy grail for authentic Sundanese culinary enthusiasts! This legendary eatery delivers an unparalleled dining experience packed with rich, traditional flavors that never fail to impress. The star of the show is undeniably their signature sambal—intensely spicy, wonderfully aromatic, and paired perfectly with their crispy fried chicken, tender beef tripe, and fresh local vegetables (lalapan). The lively, bustling local atmosphere adds to its authentic charm, making you feel right at home. Despite being consistently popular and busy, the food service is incredibly fast, and the staff are remarkably efficient. The prices are very budget-friendly for the generous portions and phenomenal quality you receive. It is an absolute must-visit destination for a truly remarkable local feast!

This branch of Warung Nasi Ibu Imas has finally reopened after a long renovation period. And thankfully, the renovation was worth the wait. The place is now bigger, more spacious, and noticeably more comfortable. It feels more proper as a dining space, not just a packed warung where you eat quickly and leave. The layout is improved, the seating is better, and overall it feels upgraded without losing its original identity. The food? Still the same. Which is exactly what you want. Solid, amazing, tasty Sundanese flavors. The portion remains generous, and the service is fast and efficient. They move quickly, which makes the dining experience smoother even when it’s busy. And yes, even with the bigger space, it still feels crowded. But honestly, that’s not their fault. If anything, it just shows how popular this place continues to be. Demand keeps growing. A true top-tier Sundanese restaurant in Bandung. Renovated space, consistent taste, fast service, and still packed. That’s how you know it’s legit.
