Bakso Akung is still one of those legendary places that really deserves its reputation. Parking is quite manageable, so arriving there did not feel stressful. The ordering system is also simple. You go to the cashier first, take the menu and the order sheet, then wait for the food. In my case, it came in around 15 minutes. I ordered the salty yamin with extra meatballs, dumplings, and siomay. Honestly, the salty yamin was really good. The seasoning was just right, especially when mixed with a little of the broth, because the broth itself was rich and savory with a strong stock flavor. The noodles are the small round type, chewy but not too tough, and easy to eat without feeling heavy. I also tried the sweet version, and surprisingly it was balanced too. Sometimes sweet yamin can feel too sweet and make you tired of it quickly, but this one still had a nice balance between sweet and savory. As for the toppings, they were all solid. The meatballs had a strong beefy taste and did not feel like generic factory-made meatballs. They tasted more handmade to me. The dumplings were generously filled with chicken, and the siomay was also thick, meaty, and had that nice chewy texture without feeling too dense. None of them felt like just extra toppings for decoration. They actually added a lot to the meal. I am honestly not surprised Bakso Akung is still considered a legend. I have been here several times, and the taste has always been consistent. Maybe that is also because they only have one location, so the quality stays more controlled. For people who genuinely enjoy authentic food and not just places that go viral on social media and turn out disappointing in real life, Bakso Akung is absolutely recommended.

The Tasty meatball and Yamien di Bandung; big portion and authentic taste. The price are relatively affordable (2 portion of Yamien with various toppong, and 1 orange juice is about Rp.135.000) . We came here in crowded situation (all tables are nearly all used), and it takes around 30 minutes for the menus to come. The service also excellent, and it also serve plastics for incidental take away. Overall, Bakso Akung is the must visit place for Yamien and Bakso lover in Bandung

Chicken noodles with additional toppings. You can choose meatballs, siomay, tofu, dumplings and even ceker. Already got warm tea. In front of the restaurant there are also many snacks, including fresh fruit pieces, ice podeng and pinch cake

A legendary noodle spot from Bandung, located right in the city center. Enjoy savory noodles or sweet yamin noodles, with toppings served separately such as meatballs, wontons, siomay, tofu meatballs, and chicken feet. The broth is rich and flavorful, making every bowl deeply satisfying.
