The ITB Museum in Bandung is an interesting place to visit, especially for those who want to learn more about ITB’s history, achievements, and contributions over the years. Although the museum space is still quite limited, the exhibits are presented in a modern and engaging way. The multimedia displays and interactive installations make the experience feel lively rather than simply reading information from panels. One of the highlights is the 360° Dome Theater, which is included in the museum admission ticket. On weekends, screenings are held every 20 minutes, starting at 9:20 a.m., with the final session at 3:40 p.m. It is best to register early and check the session printed on your ticket so you do not miss the show. There is also an outdoor aircraft section featuring a plane from ITB’s aeronautics laboratory. This is one of the most attractive areas, especially for children, as they can see the aircraft up close and take photos around it. The display adds variety to the visit and nicely complements the indoor multimedia exhibits. A regular admission ticket costs IDR 50,000 per person. Tickets are IDR 30,000 for non-ITB students, IDR 20,000 for ITB students, staff, and their families, IDR 40,000 for alumni, and IDR 75,000 for foreign visitors. Admission is free for children under four. A family package costs IDR 120,000 for two adults and two children aged 4–17. Group tickets are also available, as well as guided tours in Indonesian or English. Some sections may feel quite specific to the ITB community and will probably resonate more deeply with alumni, students, or people who have studied or worked there. They may have a better understanding of the stories, terminology, and context behind the exhibits. Even so, the overall presentation remains enjoyable for general visitors. The merchandise area is also quite good, offering modern-looking products that do not feel like typical museum souvenirs. Parking for cars costs IDR 10,000. One thing to consider is that visitors need to go up or down a flight of stairs between the parking area and the museum. This may be challenging for visitors with disabilities, wheelchair users, or elderly guests. It is possible to drop someone off in front of the museum, but there is currently no designated drop-off area. Hopefully, accessibility can be improved in the future. Overall, the ITB Museum offers an enjoyable, modern, and interactive experience. The museum itself is not very large, so the visit may be relatively short, but it has plenty of potential—especially if the exhibition space, collection, and accessibility are expanded in the future.
