This used to be one of my favorite spots back in college. Good food, generous portions, and prices that were easy on a student's budget. Came back after 14 years (can't believe it's been that long!), and I'm happy to say it still tastes exactly the way I remembered. The duck is still nicely seasoned, but I honestly think it's even better with the sambal bawang. We spent just IDR 85K for the two of us. Ordering is much more organized now. You place your order first, get a paper slip, and someone brings the food to your table. Payment is handled at a separate counter, which keeps everything running smoothly. Still as busy as ever, and it's easy to see why.

📍A must-visit place in Bandung if you’re craving duck! Back then, it was just a tent stall, but now they have a proper place. I visited on the weekend for dinner and the queue was quite long. There’s no waiting area (literally had to stand while waiting), and the place isn’t too spacious. 🍽 I ordered the fried duck and it was delicious — tender, juicy, and definitely not fishy. I also really loved their sambals. There were two types of sambal, and the spicy one was legit. 💴 Affordable and definitely worth trying!

Iy is a great spot if you’re craving flavorful duck or chicken dishes. The meat is impressively juicy, tender and packed with flavor. For the sambal I personally preferred the spicy one over the sweet. The system is a bit unique: you queue to order first, then find your own seat, and let the staff know your order number so they can deliver your food. I waited about 5 minutes to order and around 20 minutes for the food.

If you are a foreigner and don't have a strong stomach then don't eat here, it's not a clean place. But if you do have a strong stomach, then you are up for a feast. They have very delicious fried duck (I recommend order the thigh/paha) for a juicier piece. Pro tip: ask for an extra sambal. I also ordered the fried eggplant, which was a great pair to the fried duck. The place was packed and hot, so dressed accordingly.

Affordable fried duck located near Padjadjaran University in Bandung. The menu includes fried duck, fried chicken, gizzard and liver, tofu, tempeh, and fried cabbage. The fried duck is tender, crispy, and savory. There are two types of chili sauce: one slightly sweet and one spicy.
