Good “Nasi Kuning” or yellow rice and “Roti Bakar”, excellent and delicious. However, not so with the “Lontong Sayur” or rice cake with veggies soup as it was sour. Good service though

Nestled in the heart of jalan Dago Bandung, Warung Taru offers a cozy escape with rustic decor. It’s creating a perfect spot to enjoy Bandung atmosphere while digging the food they are served. The service was complete, our server makes sure all the food that we ordered already out. Talking about the dishes at Warung Taru was so comforting and joyful. I would like to recommend their “BAKWAN” its a perfect combination golden brown and crispy 🤌🏻 While the price is affordable for the quality and overall it was a delightful dining experience.

This restaurant had a nice ambiance and offers Indonesian food. I ordered nasi kuning, soto ayam, and tempe mendoan. Their nasi kuning is tasty and the sambal is spicy. Soto ayam is standard and nothing special. Their tempe mendoan portion is big and can be shared between three until four people. Their staff is nice and helpful. This restaurant is a good place to snacking and hangout with friends or family. However the parking lot is limited.

It is difficult to park for 4-wheeled vehicles, especially on weekends because the location is on the edge of a cliff with a road that is not wide and its location is in the main tourist destination of the city of Bandung. The taste of the food is decent but what is the main selling point of this place is the atmosphere and beautiful natural scenery while enjoying the food that is served. I like hanging out here enjoying the breeze and the natural scenery while drinking hot tea.

The fried chicken, tofu, and tempeh were super tasty, with the seasoning really soaking in. The tea was nice too, and the tofu was so soft. Love the environment of the restaurant cuz it is very clean and has a great view. But there are a few things that bothered me: 1. I ordered two nasi timbel, and it took forever—40 minutes to arrive—even though the place wasn’t busy. On top of that, the fried chicken was tiny, barely had any meat, even though I specifically requested the chest part. 2. I didn’t get a detailed receipt, so I couldn’t check the tax. I was suddenly charged over 100k, but the prices should’ve added up to 94k (39k for the nasi timbel, 7k for plain tea, and 9k for iced plain tea). Maybe it’s tax, which is fine, but I’d really prefer to have the receipt. 3. The staff? Only two of the male employees were friendly and smiled. The female staff, on the other hand, seemed pretty dismissive.
