Maboo is a cozy, clean, comfortable, and feature private rooms suitable for family gatherings. Staff members are helpful and friendly. Had bbq marinated pork & wagyu beef cube. The meats were tender & tasty, wagyu cubes were nice & flavours, just grilled for a while at all sides for the best flavour. We also had the Korean fried chicken, this was good, crispy, sweet & tangy chicken. The fried rice was fragrant & with bacon bits. For dessert we had vanilla pudding with caramel sauce - very recommended. Overall it's a very satisfying meal 😊

My family's go-to Korean barbecue restaurant every time we go to Bandung. It captures the essence of Korean cuisine in a way that feels both immersive and refined through the thoughtfully curated atmosphere, attentive service, and most importantly, the quality of the food. What I loved most are their kimchi and japchae, each offering a distinctive character that sets them apart from similar establishments. The flavors feel nuanced and genuinely authentic. I also find particular enjoyment in exploring their refillable, charge-free condiments, and not to forget, their free-flowing cold ocha. The pricing leans toward the higher end, but feels proportionate to the experience offered. Note: The Mekarwangi and Pasirkaliki outlets are located in shophouses, which both inevitably present a constrained feel. While it is understandable that it might be intentional to preserve a compact and intimate Korean dining, I do feel that a slightly more generous layout would significantly enhance comfort, particularly during busier hours.

The place is decent for around 4 pax. What i like is the kimchi, taste fresh and lil bit sour. You can ask to get more kimchi if you want. Some menus that I tried: Original samgyeopsal taste bland, maybe we need to dip it into the sauce to add more flavour. Marinated sweet sauce samgyeopsal taste better as for me. Kimchi jigae contained of beef slices and tofu, taste good. The bbq will be done on a gas stove grill, not charcoal grill so the meat was not really smoky.

The best Korean BBQ in Mekarwangi! Every dish is a winner; it's incredibly delicious. The place is comfortable, and the service is excellent and fast. This is my regular Korean BBQ spot because I always come here. The best part is the free refill on kimchi, and their kimchi is incredibly tasty and fresh.
