Had a coffee brunch at Makmur Jaya. There was a bit of a queue when ordering, but it was worth the wait. The coffee was great, and they also sell their own coffee beans. I tried their unique “Dirty Jenny” coffee, and it was definitely something different — highly recommended if you want to try something beyond the usual coffee. The place was quite packed when we visited, but still felt cozy and comfortable. Would definitely come back to try more from their menu.

Finally tried Kopi Makmur Jaya! The coffee tastes great—creamy and a bit similar to Kopi Kenangan, but honestly, even better. It’s so popular that the place was super crowded, so I decided to get mine to-go instead. The price is reasonable too, which makes it even more worth the hype. Will definitely come back again laterrrrr and hopefully get to enjoy it there next time!

First time trying Makmur Jaya Coffee Roastery after discovering it on social media. From the outside, there is no signboard at all — it really looks just like an old house from the street, which makes it feel quite unique. I ordered the Iced Black Single Origin, tried their Iced Coffee Gula Aren, and also had the Banana Bread. Everything was delicious. Even in the morning, the place was already quite busy and there was a bit of a queue. Highly recommended for coffee lovers.

I just arrived around 8 PM and the signature coffee was sold out. I went there in public holiday (long weekend) and the queue was unexpected. I can compare with the queue right in Blok M 🥲 Besides, the banana cake and earl grey milk tea was amazing! But I don’t think I would comeback if the queue would be that long The space is quite small too, even they have the outdoor one. It would be amazing if they make it larger

Located in a charming space — often described as reminiscent of a vintage house café with both indoor and outdoor seating — it’s a popular place to hang out, meet friends, or relax. This vibe, combined with friendly baristas, makes it inviting beyond just coffee. The cafe is known for its own signature drinks, like their creamy Kopi Susu Makmur and other creative brews (e.g., fruity or passion-fruit infusions), some of which aren’t even on the standard menu but become favorites through word of mouth. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in Bandung!
