A truly wonderful place with great food, amazing coffee, and a beautiful story behind every visit. Cerita di Dapur Cerita + Ruang Temu is a special place for anyone interested in Dutch and Surinamese cuisine. The owner has such wonderful knowledge about the food and drinks, and what makes the experience even more memorable is how warmly they share the stories and background behind each dish. The owner is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. They don't just serve food and coffee—they also share the history, culture, and little details that make every menu item feel more meaningful. For the food, I highly recommend trying the Vlammetje and Dutch Bitterballen. Both are delicious and definitely worth trying! And the coffee? Honestly, all of their coffee is amazing. You can tell that great care and knowledge go into every cup. They even gave us their signature homemade ginger ale. They made it by themselves! A warm, wholesome, and genuinely memorable place. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food, great coffee, and conversations filled with stories. I will definitely be coming back!

Really nice cozy spot on Cihampelas. The bitterballen here is so good! It’s cool reading through the menu and seeing how they break down the backstory and ingredients for their snacks (like the authentic vs local twist on the bitterballen). Worth dropping by!

Kopi nya enak pooll, and the bitterballens are legit must try it! The place is quite hidden gem but worth to try 🖤🖤

If you are passing by the area, don’t miss this address ! Not only is Hernando very nice and welcoming, all drinks + food are homemade (and delicious). 100% recommend !
