Sri Baduga Museum is a hidden gem in Bandung! The museum is rich with information about Indonesia’s long and diverse history — from prehistoric times, Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms, the arrival of Islam, colonial era, and the independence period. You’ll also see a wide collection of traditional clothes, cultural artifacts, and historical displays from various regions of Indonesia. It’s a great place to learn about how Islam entered Indonesia and how each era shaped the culture we see today. The entrance fee is only Rp6.000, very cheap for both Indonesian citizens and foreigners! It’s educational, affordable, and definitely worth a visit if you’re in Bandung.

I went to this museum because there was an exhibition of Pusaka Nusantara showcasing various traditional weapons from different museums across Indonesia. I enjoyed my visit as I walked around and explored the museum. It would be even better if there were AI technology or interactive screens that could provide explanations in a more engaging virtual format with attention-grabbing sound. Still, I truly enjoyed the experience of walking through and exploring the museum

A very good museum that describe Bandung in a glance. It provided a lot of artifacts, from pre historic until a long time a go. There are a lot of stones, preserved animals, traditional vehicles, and so on. It will bring your memory back.
