Nothing but perfection! Rooms are beautifully design, services are great, food fantastic. Jose and his family are very nice and welcoming. Trekking around the mountain to see the waterfall and the creek made our experience at Portibi Farm even more amazing. Thank you so much for such a great weekend ❤️

Group of friends and I just had the most wonderful, relaxing weekend at Portibi. It’s the perfect place to de-stress from Jakarta.||Our lodging was a “leuit”, a type of Javanese hut. They were the most economical accommodation on the farm. The mattresses in the hut were comfortable and mosquito nets provided. They weren’t air conditioned but it doesn’t really matter in the cool mountain air. ||The activities here include bread-making, a hike to a waterfall and a farm tour, all of which I really enjoyed. For me however the beauty of this place is its tranquility and how well it lends itself to “dolce fa niente” or the art of doing nothing. There are so many cosy spots in which to curl up with a book, and the bar is well-stocked with board games and cards. ||The food here is amazing! Plentiful and consistently excellent, with plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike. I’d be remiss not to mention the bar as well - never before have I seen such a good selection of Italian reds in Indonesia. And Jocean sure makes a mean G&T.||This is a truly wonderful place: so much thought has gone into every aspect of the farm, from the delicious food through to the mindful use of environmental resources - nothing goes to waste and everything is repurposed. It’s a very special and soulful corner of the earth. I only wish we had more time there!

Rustic architecture with the homey vibes you normally associate with pulang kampung. The staffs are friendly and knowledgeable, the host is very welcoming with his cute canine companion. The food is top tier, super fresh salads alongside incredibly cooked meat/chicken. Main highlights are the all of the salads, tenderloin brisket, and the soybean paste beef soup. The common areas are very versatile, will be here to try the other rooms since I got the furthest one (Limas Atas). Feedback for this room type is to add just one socket in it, since its quite taxing to walk to the main area just to charge. They have a well-stocked bar that doubles as a lounging area with a tasteful collection of books and physical music, both CDs and vinyls. Overall had an perfect experience here, would be coming back again!

The roads leading to the lodge are rough and sketchy, but doable. Once you make it, it’s amazing service and all about the food. Every meal is incredible and the environment is very peaceful. Well worth coming.
