A hotel with beautiful views and cool air.||The check-in process was fast, the officers at the front office were friendly and alert, there were 3 people ready to serve so there was no need to wait too long. With the kindness of the staff, we are allowed for early check-in and having a room with a good view.||The rooms are spacious and clean. For twin bed rooms, the couch cannot be moved but the mattress can be joined together. Hot water works well. No need to turn on the air conditioner, the mountain air has made the room cool. Don't forget to bring warm clothes, because the night air is quite cold.||I was in a Deluxe balcony room with a mountain view facing north, at night I could see the lights in the peak area and saw the Salak mountain on the west in the morning and see the mountains on the east. Room with balcony facing the swimming pool couldn't see the Salak Mountain in the morning.||Children will be very happy to stay at this hotel because there is a large indoor playground facility and outdoor playground near the restaurant. The pool is very cold but having a stunning viewed over the valley,.||The breakfast location is on 6th floor, which is a pretty famous bistro, a varied menu of choices and good taste. The view in the restaurant was amazing too. In the corner of the restaurant, there is a tree trunk inside the restaurant building.||Near the restaurant there is a mate tree "Pohon Jodoh" which have a myth, pair of lovers if they play in this area will later continue to the marriage.

My stay at The Grand Hill was very disappointing. I paid 950,000 (with 200,000 as a deposit), which is quite expensive, but the service did not match the high price at all. There were no slippers provided in the room. The bathroom water was cut off, which is completely unacceptable. Some of the staff had an unfriendly and unprofessional attitude. For breakfast, you are only allowed to choose one menu item, and if you want anything extra, you must pay additional charges. For such a high price, at least a proper and reasonable breakfast should be included. In my opinion, this hotel is overpriced and provides poor service. I hope the management seriously improves their standards.

The hotel’s location is still fairly good, although the road leading to it is a bit congested. The parking area is spacious. I received an upgraded room with a double bed, and the view from the room was very beautiful (my room type had a balcony). From the balcony, I could see Mount Salak on the left side and a green nature view on the right side. The room cleanliness was good, and the amenities were sufficient. The breakfast menu leaned heavily towards Arabian-style dishes. What was very disappointing: The restaurant staff were extremely unfriendly. When we finished breakfast, there was no greeting at all even though we walked past two staff members. The lobby security was not helpful at all. During checkout, I was carrying one suitcase and several bags. My car stopped at the lobby, and the security did not greet, assist, or offer any help. This is something I have never experienced at other hotels. It was very disappointing.

We extended our stay for another night. When we returned, the room hadn't been cleaned. When we informed reception we were told would have to wait and don't know how long cuz there are no more cleaning staff. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told I cannot. So I took charge and told the 3 staff sitting there doing nothing to go and clean the room. It would have been nice if they had shown initiative rather than giving fake smiles and saying there is nothing they can do.
