Top notch. I got the ayam bakar (grilled chicken) package for Rp33k which was very reasonable; tahu, tempe, sambal, and lalapan were included. The sambal was excellent. The views are great despite being adjacent to the main road. Service was good and the place was clean. Overall, great find.
View on GoogleAffordable and tasty. We ordered Iga Bakar, Paru, Ayam Serundeng, Kangkung Belacan and Sambal Kecombrang, along with Nasi Jeruk and Nasi Liwet. All tasted good, especially the sambal. They also have a good view at night.
View on GoogleMy family and I stopped by Warung Sunda Melayang after attending a relative’s wedding nearby. The restaurant is conveniently located by the roadside with a spacious parking area, which was a big plus. When we arrived, the place was quite empty, only one other family was dining, so we were a bit hesitant at first, but we decided to give it a try. We ordered the family package for 6 people, which surprisingly turned out to be enough for the 7 of us! The package cost IDR 330,000 and included nasi liwet, 3 grilled chickens, 3 fried beef (empal), black pepper squid, karedok, and some small crispy fish (not sure of the name). Drinks were not included, but there were plenty of drink options available, and they also provided free warm water. Altogether, with drinks and tax, we spent around IDR 450,000, very reasonable for 7 people. The food was delicious, especially the squid, hands down the best dish. The grilled chicken was also tasty, the thigh portion was perfect, though the breast was a bit thick but still flavorful. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. They have traditional floor seating (lesehan), beautiful views, and the cool, fresh air made it a great spot for a family gathering. Would definitely come back again!
View on GoogleA Sundanese restaurant with plenty of options, and the prices are affordable compared to the portion sizes. The baby fried fish was amazing. All the dishes were well-seasoned, and the sambals are spicier than usual. The nasi jeruk was also delicious. However, the bandrek susu was a bit too sweet for my taste. The service could be improved.
View on GoogleI went there with my family, and it was raining. The place was open air and huge, so the air flow was really breezy, it was nice. If it not raining, i believe we would see a beautiful scenery of the mountain. The foods was great, the must-try dish is JUKUT.
