been here prolly 10 years ago, back then no google maps yet I guess. It's small in the top of a hill museum, surrounded by big tree but not sure nowadays, hope it's getting better

Museum located among residential villages. The entrance path requires going up a hill and through a cemented pathway. Vehicle parking is very difficult because it is not available, so it will be troublesome if there is a group visit using large vehicles like buses. The museum environment is nice and green because it is well maintained, there is a staff member who acts as the caretaker of the museum. The museum displays and layout are lacking, giving the impression that there is still a lot of empty space in the museum. Artifact information is also quite minimal and there is no good information around the environment such as explanations of megalithic stones and excavation stakes. Sometimes an unpleasant odor can be smelled because the museum location is close to the Final Disposal Site (TPA) belonging to the Bogor Regency Government which is only 1 km from the museum location. This museum is very worthy of a visit to broaden archaeological knowledge in Indonesia.

Facilities inside the museum include a toilet, and a prayer room. There is no entrance ticket, just recording names and signatures, the museum courtyard is spacious, there are various kinds of rooms. There is street lighting
