The food portion were so hugee it could up to for 2 person, but you can order for 1/2 portion, overall the taste was good
View on Googlevery slow service, noodles were extra soft, I think they forgot them inside the water. No flavors at all inside the noodles. Just plain noodle. Meat tasted bad. Dont expect any athmosphere.
View on GoogleLegendary noodles in Garut! The grandma herself still cooks every bowl by hand. Located right in the market, the old-style interior brings back warm memories. The noodles are incredibly savory — every bite is pure delight. The meatballs are springy and full of beef flavor, the siomay is dense, and the wontons are soft and chewy. The portions are generous — even half a serving can fill you up. Cash only, and the receipt is handwritten!
View on GoogleMie Baso Parahyangan truly lives up to its legendary status. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt that everything about the place matched its reputation. The vibe, the interior, and most importantly, the food. It has that nostalgic feel of a long standing establishment that knows exactly what it’s doing and doesn’t need to over explain itself. I asked the staff for a recommendation, and they pointed me toward their Mie Yamin and I’m glad I followed their advice. Served with a side of Baso, Siomay, Babat, and Pangsit, it was a complete and satisfying meal. Every component complemented the others so well, like they were made to be enjoyed together. The noodle had just the right texture, and the flavor was deep and comforting. Their sambal also stood out. Slightly different than your usual chili sauce, and it worked perfectly with the dishes. For the drink, I ordered Es Markisa, which was refreshing but just a bit too sweet for my taste. Still, a nice companion to balance out the savory meal. One small note: preparation time was a little longer than expected, around 15 minutes for my Mie Yamin. Not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. Also, don’t be surprised about the pricing, they don’t display the prices on the menu, so you’ll find out when you pay (or check the receipt like I did on my visit, 24 June 2025, feel free to zoom in on the photo I posted 😂) All in all, a great culinary stop. Worth visiting if you’re in town and want to experience something that holds its place as a true Bandung classic.
View on GoogleMie Bakso Parahyangan offers a delightful culinary experience located in the heart of Garut. Praise the soft and tender noodles that boast a unique, straight, and flat texture distinct from the usual curly homemade noodles.. Another standout feature is the delectable bakso, which many patrons find incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The meatballs are perfectly cooked and offer a delightful bite, complementing the noodles well. The broth at Mie Bakso Parahyangan often garners positive mentions despite its oily appearance. Patrons note that the soup is rich, savory, and packed with umami, adding an extra layer of depth to the overall dish. Furthermore, the siomay (dumplings) are highly recommended by repeat customers. This side dish is celebrated for its delectable taste and is often considered a must-try by those familiar with the menu. Overall, Mie Bakso Parahyangan is a beloved spot for noodle and bakso enthusiasts. The combination of soft noodles, flavorful meatballs, and savory broth, paired with must-try siomay, makes it a place worth visiting multiple times. The consistent reviews reflect its strong reputation in the local culinary scene.
