The Zoology Museum is one of the most popular attractions for visitors exploring the Bogor Botanical Gardens, and it’s definitely worth a visit! 😊 Most of the animal collections are preserved. But one of the newest highlights is the Immerzoa section, which offers a fun and immersive experience. We can experience about 5–10 minutes. It was interactive and enjoyable. The guides are also knowledgeable and informative. It’s a great destination for families and children!
View on GoogleThe Zoology Museum is located inside the Bogor Botanical Gardens, so you need to purchase the garden entrance ticket first. The museum itself is not very large, but it is well-organized, clean, and highly educational. What makes it special is the clear visitor flow: there are footprints on the floor that guide you from one room to another, helping visitors learn about animals in a structured and easy-to-follow way. The collections are neatly categorized by animal groups such as birds, reptiles, and others, making the information easier to understand. The museum has a good and fairly complete collection of Indonesia’s unique wildlife. Overall, it is an interesting and informative place, especially for families, students, and anyone curious about biodiversity in Indonesia.
View on GoogleCured my curiosity by visiting Museum of Zoology. It was okay... like various dead animal being displayed. I wished to learn more and hoped there were a tour guide. For instance, about snake, there must be some interesting details beside how dangerous they are 🤷♂️
