It was a great experience went to this Museum Balai Kirti with Local Guide Bogor Community. The security is quite strict. The building is wide and big, well maintained. I feel like I'm a student visiting here, throw back our president long-history. I recommend to bring our child (if allowed) to add knowledge of the former leader of Indonesia.

Great place to learn about past presidents, you also can learn about "things" that represent them. Like clothing, family, most renowed quote etc. But since it is very close to the presidential palace, it is guarded by president's guardian troops (Paspampres) thus you cannot freely enter it, you must make an appointment by send an application letter of visiting (you can check for how on the internet). The rule for visitor are: 1. YOU CANNOT WEARING JEANS!! (yes it is very important or the paspampres will throw you out) 2. You only allowed to bring your phone or camera while in the building 3. You cannot walking alone, there will always a guide that follow you

Museum Balai Kitri is one of museum that you have to visit while in Bogor. This place was really clean and the architecture was so cool. To visit the museum you have to send an permitting email a week before. This museum is very recommended for kids to learn more about Indonesia's presidential.
