Warteg, or Tegal food stall, featuring home-cooked meals, is very popular in the Capital and its surroundings. Known as cheap and filling stalls, they are much needed by people with modest incomes. This Warteg Gina is managed by people from Tegal, Kaligangsa Wetan, not far from the house of the late H. Sastoro, the founder of KOWARTEG. This warteg is very simple, but the food is refreshing, especially the fried bakwan which entices hungry mouths
