Konro Marannu in Kota Baru Parahyangan delivers a cozy, clean, and bright setting inside a ruko. It feels comfortable enough for a good meal, though it lacks the open-kitchen charm of their Jl. Riau outlet. Without seeing the konro grilled over open flames, some of the excitement of the dining experience is missing. That said, the food still holds up. The meat is tender, smoky, and flavorful, with a nice char that pairs perfectly with the slightly spicy peanut sauce. The soup is rich and savory, bringing depth to every spoonful. Still, I couldn’t help but feel the taste was a bit different from the Jl. Riau branch. Perhaps because the cooking process isn’t quite the same. Overall, it’s a solid spot for konro lovers in the area, even if it doesn’t fully capture the magic of the Riau's outlet.

So disappointed the way this place is doing business. First of all, they have hidden prices on their menu, which is unethical. Secondly, when they noticed, I am foreigner, they over-charged me, which I know and feel because having been around over more than 10 years in Indonesia, I have an idea of fair-price and the money-for-value. The sop I ordered was far below the quality. Meat tasted raw and I felt some hard object under my teeth. Maybe it was broken bone piece in the sop. Rice was simply terrible. I found better rice on road-side food stall or a warteg or warung than here... Please do business ethically and with a sense of fairness, do not hide your prices and then charge foreigners like me as if you want to compensate yourself for not having any other customer on a particular day! Also, please improve your food quality if you wanna charge higher, at least the customer would feel that it is value for money... Transparency and quality is key to success! I regret going to this place and will never ever visit again!!!

My favorite menu is the grilled konro!! The seasoning is very delicious, very spicy, appetizing. The sop konro is also no less delicious.. For coto makassar, the meat is tender, but unfortunately the soup is less salty for me, fortunately salt is provided on the table so you can adjust to your own taste. When I came, only 3 foods were available, next time I want to come back to try other menus. For dessert, try es pallu butung, delicious.. For the place it's okay, the service is also okay..
