Sagoo Kitchen is an excellent choice if you’re really hungry and craving Indonesian food. The menu is varied, the portions are generous, and the flavors are satisfying. I tried their Nasi Goreng Babat Semarang — not the most authentic version, but still very tasty and comforting. The toast and buns are another highlight. My favorite was the Toast Malaka Butter: soft, slightly sweet, savory, and absolutely delightful with every bite. I finished the meal with a bittersweet es kopi tarik, which rounded out the experience perfectly. Altogether, it was a hearty, flavorful, and thoroughly satisfying visit.

Food variations are great, especially when you love Indonesian and peranakan food, lots of choices. Taste is good and feels authentic. Tried the kangkung hotplate and it was unexpectedly delicious. Light meal portions are very generous. Ambience is comfortable and nice, and price-wise it’s reasonable for the quality and portion. Overall, a solid place for Indonesian food in Bumi Hejo, KBP.

Had a truly pleasant dining here and nothing failed me. Definitely will be one of my fav resto around KBP especially when you bring the elder. As you can see from the bill, the food price here is still reasonable. I ordered ifumie, es kacang singapore and nasi bestek ayam. The order came out really fast, within 10 minutes. The food was still hot when they delivered it to your table. Nasi goreng otok owok taste good too, with hint of smokiness. Char kwey tiaw just taste so so, plain without many seasoning. Ais campur malaka taste good, but still ais katjang sing is my fav. The place is big and can accomodate many visitors. If you have a special occasion, you can have separated dining area can fit around 12 pax. If you prefer outdoor seating area, you will enjoy the scenery too. You can see bumi hejo from the upper ground. Overall, surely will recommend this resto for you and loved ones to enjoy the best dining experience in KBP.
