I was expecting a little too high for my visit to Mala House. Came early just to get table for 2 that night. The place filled up quite fast by customers. Must choose at least 5 items in order to enjoy the meal. I tried the dry hot pot. + Food varieties + "Hawker" style + It's Mala sauce o Taste alright o Price was okay - Mosquitoes!! Avoid using skirts / shorts - Beggar.

The place is a bit little and use some cheap furniture soo its not look like a fancy restaurant. But it serve some good food and taste well. Just spent aroun 120K rupiah and it was worth it in every single money. But actually we can spent a bit less than that. This restaurant dominated with some teenage. And just because this restaurant only have a small room, its not really wise to bring your friend more than 6 person. Because you will a bit hard to get table.. But the taste of food was good enough and this restaurant will not rob your back account because the price of foods were slightly cheap.

Mala is happening. There are lot of places offering mala dishes nowadays. One of them is Mala House. Located at Muara Karang, this restaurant located across Superindo. Follow google maps, and you will find it. The concept is almost like fastfood, you come to the counter, pick the food that you like and then give it to them either to fry it or to make soup. There are 4 hottness level, where 2 is normal. I like the soup better, it has more rich in taste. Fried version have a lot of red chili. Despite the name of mala house, the dishes does not have too much mala, which is good for me. It just enough to give small numbing effect but still edible Sitting inside will be a better choice, with aircon and no disturbance from street performer Toilet need upgrade

You can choose what's going to be inside your bowl, which is going to be the main dish that you eat. They have lot of choice from fish balls, pork, veggies and carbs. Then you choose your own level of spiciness and the amount of mala you want. Mala's spiciness is unique and quite spicy for me (I'm good with spicy food) so add less if you do not really like spicy food.

A lot of mosquito right here. A lot of variety of food. You can cook with 2 different choices, fried or with soup. Soup to much oil and level 2 of Chilli is the minimum.
