Angke has long been a favorite among locals for authentic Chinese-Indonesian food. The food has been consistently delicious over the years, and the quality never disappoints. The stir-fried eel with preserved vegetables is my absolute favorite-crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The braised pork belly is melt in your mouth, tender with a rich, savory sauce that's perfect with steamed rice. The sweet and sour pork is crispy with a well-balanced sauce, while the seafood and mixed vegetable stir-fry is fresh, generous, and packed with shrimp and vegetables. The soup was light and comforting, making it the perfect complement to the meal. Portions are generous, service is quick and attentive, and the restaurant maintains its excellent quality every time I visit. A highly recommended spot for anyone looking for authentic Chinese-Indonesian food in PIK.
View on GoogleWe had tried the Angke heritage restaurant before, and this place is quite spacious also, with three levels and very attentive service. They truly excel in providing excellent service to their customers. The main attraction here is the food. Most of the dishes we ordered were delicious and well-cooked. We particularly enjoyed the lumpia udang, which was well-made and flavorful. The prawn yam ha was also great, but it wasn’t overly salty. The ginger chicken was equally tasty. All the squid dishes with salt and pepper were nicely done and flavorful, which is our favorite. There are many other dishes on their menu that are worth trying when you’re in PIK. The desserts, the manggo sago and coconut pudding, are must-tries. They are both delicious. They also offer many discounts affiliated with cards and Grab, which is a nice perk. The prices are slightly higher but with good portion, well worth.
View on GoogleI enjoyed the vegetarian choices at Angke Restaurant - PIK, especially the toumiaw and tofu dishes. The khaubak was a bit harder than I expected, but overall the meal was still very satisfying. I’d happily come back to try more of the menu.
View on GoogleThe food is just like normal Chinese food. Nothing special but pricy. Beautiful setting of public area that can take nice photos.
View on GoogleThe duck is surprisingly good. Our fam not a fan of this chinese food. So we only ate like 2 or 3 times before. The fish is fresh. The 4 of kind appetizer is big portion.
