One of the best Kapau restaurant in North Jakarta area. My only complaint is that this place located too far from where I live. It’s truly a hidden gem and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Padang cuisine because once you taste it, you definitely will forget other Padang restaurants. Price is also very reasonable, place is comfortable with a lot of parking space available in front. Service is quite good and staffs are very helpful. Please open other branch in other parts of Jakarta.

An authentic nasi Kapau - Padang food. The spices are strong, the sauce is thick and the service is fast. The Rendang aged perfectly. You can tell that the rendang is very tasty at its best. The spices are deep inside the meat. SUPERB! IMHO you can tell good Padang restaurant from its rendang. The rest of the dishes: gulai ayam, salted fish, telor dadar and everything else, they are full of flavour! This is not your regular Padang restaurant. I know because I eat nasi Padang almost everyday. The price is fairly cheap. 4 pax was less than IDR 150K in total. Nice! I am in love! Highly recommended!

Newly open nasi kapau in kelapa gading area! A must to try! Delicious variety of food choices and affordable too. Best is gulai kepala ikan and paru goreng while the rest of the food tasted were equally tasty. 😍😍😍

i am visiting the restaurant today. We are came from all the way South Jakarta for the business meeting. I enjoyed the foods after the meeting and the taste of foods are great. The employees in this restaurant are very kind. I felt these people provide a good food with good service. I want to recommend this restaurant who is visiting Klapadading.

I have eaten in this place, the price is about average. While the tastes is average for it's price, it's also not what I expected from a restaurant carrying Kapau name. The taste profile is closer to average Padang cuisine rather than a Kapau one. It's the same with the menu selection, they haven't got enough of Kapau specialties and have more on common with normal Padang restaurant instead. In short, it tries too much to be mainstream with following Padang restaurant lead rather than be authentic to it's Kapau name. I don't recommend this for those who want more authentic Kapau tastes, but it's okay for average Padang restaurant. If you want more authentic Kapau experience, there are better Kapau restaurants out there.
