This place have nice ambience. We came for iftar and they serve the food in time, so most of the people can break to get food and drink at the time. The food that i ordered with others is Gurame Goreng, Tempe mendoan, Ayam Bakar, Sate, Empal, Teh Manis, Es Jeruk and Es Teler. The taste was good and they served on time. You may consider to come and get nice and warm food that's have nice taste and feels homie like visiting grandma's house. But if you looking for special taste and Instagramablr this not your place. And this rate based on my opinion.
View on GoogleI saw the growth of this resto since my early teens and only now can write here while noticing few things: 1. Their sayur asam has changed a lot: once they used a very unique "asam" (sunti?) which tasted like potatoes, never saw it again for very looong time! Moreover, the owner of this resto today must be the 2nd or probably the 3rd generations of the original founder, without any bad rumours out to public! 2. The premise was once (I guess) rented, used a dark brown thick fabric, which was a very common tent style those days. Perhaps today is very similar to the army tent today... I remembered how clients could still pick up, chosen the items they wanted to eat (waroeng style?). 3. Their Benhil spot was a bit too far for me, so that I went there really only a couple of times only! Well, on top of all always happy to return here . . . 🙏
View on GoogleEverything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend this place. My favorite ones are grilled Gurame, papaya leaves, grilled chicken, and es doger. The service is always fast. I always come here every time I visited Jakarta.
View on GoogleWest java Cuisine with comfy place and excellent service. From all the menu I tried, My fave dish is sop buntut
View on GoogleGreat place to have Indonesian Sundanese food. The grilled fish and chicken are not overly sweet. Pecel salad tastes original. The tamarind soup aka sayur asam is delicious. The oxtail soup is not greasy. Overall is good experience.
