The Sate is really delicious, the chicken's flavor could be improved, and please check the rice again when cooking it. Overall everything is okay and tasty. Keep up the spirit with the business, and please improve the cleanliness

SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS! Got a recommendation from threads aaaand the chicken is so tender (maybe pressure-cooked?) the jukut goreng isn't too dry, so you can still feel the jukut texture, and the portion is generous, not just a tiny bit or stingy🫶🏼 The crispy crumbs are delicious, THE SKIN IS ALSO SOOO TENDER???? the red sambal is the bestttt, seriously packs a spicy punch, gosh and the price is still reasonable too, so you absolutely haaave to try it⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼 YOU CAN REFILL RICE AND DRINKS, yep this is boarding-house-budget friendly

100% addictive for lovers of savory chicken. Met the owner himself, bang Sam, who's super friendly.

As for the food, I think the taste is still just average. The savory fried chicken that I thought would be rich in spices turned out not to have much noticeable seasoning. For the sambal, the green sambal didn't really suit my palate, while the red sambal/sambal bawang still tasted quite good. As for the service, when the food was served there was no information or indication that the lalapan was self-service. It would be better if the staff informed customers or provided a clear sign so customers wouldn't be confused.

East Jakarta's food scene never stops, there's another hidden gem around rawamangun. The ayam gurih's seasoning soaks right in, and the chicken is big and tender. The sambal tempong goes perfectly with it, and there's a choice of nasi daun jeruk and nasi gurih pedas. Yesterday we still got the promo with free jukut goreng. Wishing success to ayam gurih bang sam, and good health to the friendly crew.
