I came here with a few older people, confidently recommending this place since it’s known for Indonesian food and is often used by my office for lunch boxes. The location is very spacious, with plenty of parking. The restaurant was quite empty—maybe only three other tables were occupied. The food was so-so. Some dishes were good, others were just average. What didn’t make sense was how long it took for both drinks and food to come out, especially considering how quiet the restaurant was. I honestly can’t imagine how long the wait would be during peak hours. The biggest turn-off, though, was the service. When we arrived, one of the older people with me asked for a plate and had to repeat it twice because there was no response. Instead of replying politely or acknowledging the request, the waiter said, “iya sabar.” It felt dismissive and inappropriate—especially toward elderly guests. If the waiter had already said “yes” and we kept pushing, that might still be understandable (though not ideal), but there was no response at all before that comment. Honestly, this experience made me feel like this was probably my first and last visit to this branch. The service was quite disappointing.

Vibes & Atmosphere : Spot On. Need extra parking lot for visitors & loyal customers. Tables are somewhat small, need bigger ones, Pronto! Find a way to make food cooking & servings faster and more accurate. Please manage the separation between noisy environment & quite environment, so both doesn't mixed up easily and creating problems to some people.

This is a pretty old restaurant in matraman, they recently renovated the place and it is a lot nicer now with fresh look. Great indonesian food at reasonable price, the soup is pretty good with just enough serving size for me, if you are a big eater maybe you will need a second dish though.

A clean and cozy place to have a javanese meal. Although my javanese friend says this is not really authentic javanese. But the taste is still pretty good with affordable price and friendly service.

One of the best place to have a good quality of Central Javanese Cuisine in Jakarta, during this pandemic situation, this is not crowded at all, and the restaurant applies strict health protocol. It makes you comfortable to dine in.
