We had a late lunch at this café and were pleasantly surprised. The dining area was spacious, comfortable, and cozy. We ordered the lamb mandi, grilled chicken, beef salad, and kunafa. The lamb was incredibly tender and juicy, with no strong or unpleasant smell. The grilled chicken was also moist and flavorful. The mandi rice was delicious, infused with aromatic cardamom and complemented by sweet raisins. The beef salad was fresh and refreshing, with tender slices of beef that paired well with the vegetables. We were very satisfied with all the dishes we tried. The kunafa was especially excellent. The sugar syrup was served separately, allowing us to adjust the sweetness to our preference. It was topped with sliced almonds and roasted coconut, while the melted cheese inside created a perfect balance of texture and flavor.
View on GoogleOur visit to Bruen Coffee & Kitchen was a good experience. The atmosphere on ground floor is beautifully crafted, giving the feeling of a four-star dining hall. The food showed great care 👍 the creamy pesto chicken was juicy, well-balanced for the Indonesian palate, and accompanied by vegetables cooked just right with firm broccoli. The strawberry mocktail was rich with fresh fruit, though a bit more herbal presence from the mint would bring it into full balance. The hospitality of the team was outstanding (10/10), well-dressed and welcoming. Parking was hassle-free. While I noticed the paint peeling on the wall by the stairs and missed having live music on a weekend night, the quiet atmosphere was pleasant. It sits on the higher side in price, but the quality justifies it. May this spot stay strong and continue to thrive.
View on GoogleThe atmosphere was good, complemented by air conditioning. I ordered the nasi ayam sambal matah and iga garang asam. However, the iga garang asam didn't have the authentic garang asam flavor; it tasted more like soto with the addition of green tomatoes and pineapple bites, which was disappointing. The ayam sambal matah was also a letdown, the chicken was excessively dry, and the sambal matah was too oily and lacked the necessary spice for my taste.
View on GoogleI just had my birthday lunch with my family here. This restaurant was my choice because we've been here multiple times. We enjoy coming back because foods in this restaurant are very delicious. They offer various kind of food from local cuisine, pasta, steak, and many more. The price is worht it in my opinion. Definitely would recommend this to others.
