Suppose to be famous and popular since 1990's. Most popular is the soto daging where they smash the meat (that's where they got the name) before serving it with the beef broth. Hmm not my kind of soto. Around 30k per bowl. The stall is quite clean.

Soto Gebrak cak anton been serving authentic Surabaya style soto since 1990s,evident from phot that they have in the wall. As person who have lived in Surabaya for 4 months I have to say not many restaurant on Jakarta serve authentic surabayan style soto. I ordered soto daging", empal and perkedel when i went here. The broth is delicious and the meat that the give is pretty generous, so I will definitely come back to this place again.

It called gebrak because the waiter will regularly hit the desk and make noise "brakk". The place is quite clean and the price is fair

There's always something new to experience in life, eh? Dining here is one of them. Soto was full of spices, which I like, the soup is thick and delicious, but I don't see the "Koya" though, or is it not necessary? When asked for "hot" tea, they bring super hot ones, which I like. I have no complaints, but, they should be able to warm the "satays". They should be able to clean the place more. They should help the customers with more hygiene. The best part of it, every time they did the "Gebrak", we were all like "shocked" 🤣🤣🤣 PS: first time here, first time experiencing Soto "Gebrak". Nice Food! You guys should try it more often!
