Among all the amazing dishes, the Udang Telur Asin (salted egg prawns) and Kerapu Steam (steamed grouper) stood out as the most unforgettable. The prawns were perfectly crispy and coated in a creamy, savory salted egg sauce, while the fish was incredibly fresh, tender, and steamed to perfection with fragrant herbs and soy sauce. Peranakan Restaurant in Gatot Subroto: I was craving for Peranakan food and remembered that there is a Penang Bistro branch near my office. I went here with my colleagues and we ordered a lot! I liked everything since they all tasted so flavorful and delicious but my fav was the salted egg prawn and the fried chicken sambal terasi!! Ugghhh so fragrant and thick with sauce! The vibe also felt luxurious since it was so airy and big ya, nice for big groups. Recommended for lunch!
