This time, I chose to celebrate my birthday at Sailendra Restaurant for their Off the Grill dinner buffet because I had seen many people recommending it. Overall, I had a good experience. The buffet doesn’t offer as many food choices as I expected, and the restaurant itself wasn’t as elegant or luxurious as I imagined for a JW Marriott property. I’ve personally seen other 5-star hotel buffets with a more premium atmosphere and presentation. That said, the food was enjoyable. They offer a good variety of Western, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, and Korean dishes, including steak, spaghetti, fresh seafood, tteokbokki, roast duck, dim sum, soups, vegetables, and more. The highlight of the evening was definitely the steak—it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever tasted. The dessert section was also impressive, with a wide selection of ice cream, cakes, traditional Indonesian desserts, and even some Korean desserts. While the restaurant and presentation didn’t quite match the luxury level I expected, the quality of the food, especially the steak, made the experience worthwhile. If you’re visiting for the food rather than the atmosphere, it’s still a buffet I’d recommend trying.

Buffet Restaurant inside JW Marriot Hotel with wide food options from Traditional, Western, Japanese, Indian, Seafood, Desert, etc. Taste: The brisket and other beef we tried was pretty hard to chew. The seafood runs out quickly. Sashimi only available weekend they said. But overall it's quite good, the crab was the star among all. Presentation: Good. Location: very strategic in Kuningan CBD area inside JW Marriot Hotel Service: Welcoming staff, fast response server. Type: Traditional, Western, Japanese, Indian, Seafood, Desert, etc. Price: Mid-High Atmosphere/Ambience: modern traditional 5 stars hotel ambience.

ALLLLL IS GREAT!!! anyway, this resto is legend for my big family since 25 years ago...and its still GREAT until now.. im wondering why nowadays some comments experiencing bad experience by giving bad rating..so today i try this resto again ..aaaannd...IT IS GREAT STILL...!!! many food and beverages variants!! their juices is not essence..but from the real fruit! the meat the fish the chicken all is very juicy tender and very tastyy! their services are also awesome! there is mba caca and mas andrian who is very satset friendly and helpful and also there is also pak ilham ianantono the chef supervisor who came to us explaining about some signature menus especially from singaporean and indian cuisines ..we had a great conversation especially due to my 1st son wants to be a great chefffff like them! the gelato corner is also very complete there is also a sorbet!! ahhh ..surelly will come back again one daaay..! thanks sailendra resto n jw marriot hotel..!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Came for a Friday night dinner with my bestie and although it was surprisingly quiet, the food experience was fantastic. The buffet was incredibly abundant and beautifully presented. Peking duck was yummy and pizza was my recom. Great taste and great service. Will definitely be back!

Honestly, this is one of the hotel buffets that didn't disappoint at all. There are so many food options, from local Indonesian dishes to international cuisine. And the desserts? Absolutely unforgettable. The restaurant is comfortable, clean, and has a luxurious atmosphere without feeling intimidating. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the experience. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a great meal, this place is definitely worth visiting. 10/10, would absolutely come back the next time I'm in Jakarta. Sailendra Restaurant truly delivered an amazing dining experience!
