Hi guys , so here’s the thing in short, there is a WIDE IMBALANCE when it comes to taste of the food and service of the staff. Food actually tastes good, flavors are quite authentic, the problem is the people. Servers and managers have no clue or training about Indian food, no one knows what items are included in the thali. (They had to go inside kitchen and write it on a paper to inform me). Biryani came with no serving spoon, so that means the cutlery you used to eat from your plate has to be used to take the portion of biryani. Everyone is busy in managing the buffet and this is where the problem starts. Even if they wanted they cannot serve you properly. There is no focus, this is not CRM/SEO guys problem it’s the operations manager of this restaurant/hotel or the GM who should be question after reading my review. And please do not reply with a copy paste response. If you really read reviews fix your service standards. I paid for the service charge and it’s the most regrettable service charge I’ve ever paid, becoz practically there was no service given. Thank you

A wonderful introduction to Indian Cuisine! Thank you Chefs for recommending us great, tasty and authentic dishes. We had 3 types of tandoor roasted appetizers, lamb, chicken and paneer. They make their own paneer and it tastes lovely! For the mains, we had the butter chicken and lentil curry. I love how their spices are different from the other Indian restaurants I've had. The butter chicken was definitely the highlight of the night. There's also this complimentary dessert, I don't know the name, but it is sweet and spongy

I am leaving the least amount of stars on the categories I can actually comment on. I booked a table for 2 people and when we arrived we were told the restaurant was full therefore we would have to sit upstairs by the buffet, from a different restaurant but we are allowed to order from the menu of Maya 🤨 I said I booked, so how is is full, surely I have a table reserved somewhere. The staff was rude and dismissive so I decided to go check out the restaurant downstairs myself, turned out it was half empty. Go understand… i am white and my husband black, was this racism? I don’t know… I booked for 9pm, was on time, was polite, it was for our 6years anniversary. I heard the cuisine was one of the best and my husband loves Indian food so I wanted to treat him. It was humiliating, disappointing and also quite infuriating to be treated this way at an establishment of the kind. We left and went next door to a small Indian restaurant instead and it was delicious and the service was impeccable. JW Marriott, honestly do better, from a Marriott Bonvoy member, this was an experience I hope no one else will have to go through. It is certain that will never step foot in that restaurant again.

Amazing Indian food. Excellent service, fresh high quality ingredients. Loved paneer tikka and orange kulfi (literally inside orange)! Chef stopped by several times to check in. This is my 3rd visit and had fantastic experience each time.
