Still one of the best Japanese resto in South Jakarta. Worth the price, good quality, good service, nice ambience. Better make reservations first if you plan visit on peak hour.
View on GoogleA small vintage Japanese restaurant that has been around for quite sometime (but I only visited just now). They have a variety of alacarte dishes but also served an Omakase session that was quite affordable (starting from 350k++). We opted to try their Omakase last time and were impressed by the creation and the service of the sushi chef. Although the place was crowded during that time, he managed to serve us without any significant delays. My favorite was the spanish mackarel which has the smooth texture. And the dessert was also nice for me. Will come some other time to try their alacarte menu (which actually also quite affordable).
View on GoogleFinally had the chance to dine here after hearing so many great reviews from my friends—and it didn’t disappoint. I originally wanted to try their omakase, but since it was for iftar, I went with à la carte instead. The place is a small and cozy sushi bar, which adds to the charm. I really loved the authentic taste, especially the sashimi platter—fresh, clean, and well prepared. Definitely a spot I want to come back to next time, hopefully to try their omakase 🍣✨
View on GoogleThe dishes taste great and chef’s recommendations were spot on! Mas Deftar was very informative, will visit again 👍
View on GoogleWe tried the omakase experience here, and it was amazing! The chef prepared sushi using different kinds of fish, and each one tasted surprisingly delicious — not like the usual sushi you get at regular Japanese restaurants. The highlight was definitely the sauces added to each piece — every one had a different, unique flavor that perfectly complemented the fish. Even the fresh wasabi was grated right in front of us, which made the experience feel extra special. Absolutely loved it! 🍣💚
