Cozy place
View on GoogleTurns out I'm not the only one who experienced the snobby female staff. Walked in and immediately hit with the question, “want a drink?” in a snotty tone. Ruined the morning mood. The taste of the drink was just so-so, and the bread was just so-so too.
View on GoogleBuana the East is the absolute best, and the prices are great too. The baristas are welcoming, quick, and friendly. The milo coffee is the absolute best and most delicious drink. It's just a pity that the quality of the pandan syrup in their pandan tea has dropped because when I used to buy it, the pandan flavor was really strong, but now it's just like regular sweet iced tea. Still, you guys are the best for responding to my criticism about their pandan tea.
View on GoogleSo delicious, located right under The East hallway. A great place to enjoy coffee, tea, and pastries. Besides the bakery items, they also have local street snacks like lontong, lemper, and more. They can even heat them up so they taste fresher. There are about 5 tables and chairs outside Buana, which is enough for office workers from The East building to hang out. They don't just sell coffee; they also have tea, chocolate, and other drinks. You can choose them hot or cold. The Thai Tea is delicious, just right and not too overly sweet. Recommended bakery items include the braided bread (roti sisir) and pull-apart bread (roti sobek), priced at only around 9 thousand.
View on GoogleActually I like the bread and the milo coffee, but because the female staff is super snobby, it makes me not want to come back. When we said thank you, she just stayed completely silent without even a smile. Is this standard operating procedure from Buana? Requiring employees to be snobby, unfriendly, and impolite?
