The Japanese Restaurant within the JW Marriott is plain amazing. Great authentic atmosphere and a wonderful team with highly skilled Chefs and a perfect service team. Dishes are beautifully decorated and arranged and of very high quality and super fresh. A cherished retreat in a otherwise very hectic city.

Standouts include the luxuriously creamy Bafun Uni & Ikura, beautifully handled shirako, rare and well-executed fugu soup, and the unforgettable A5 Kagoshima sukiyaki — meltingly rich and perfectly paired with egg yolk. Sashimi quality is exceptional across the board, and even the desserts, fully imported from Japan, are thoughtfully curated. A seamless omakase experience from start to finish — refined, excellent, and truly worth savoring. 💯

Had a lovely lunch here in. The food was fresh and delicious, and even our picky kids enjoyed the sushi so much. The surprise warabi mochi service made their day even better. Thank you for the wonderful experience, we’d love to come back again when we visit Jakarta next time.

Went here for an Omakase experience. Each dish was well prepared, the ingredients were fresh and everything was tasty! Service is as expected of a hotel restaurant. They were very kind, attentive and catered to all of our needs. Would recommend the place!
