After trying several restaurants under the same group, I can tell you that Madame Mai is easily my favorite and has secured its place on my go-to list. I ordered the Pho Bo Tai (65k) with extra cakue (10k). Their pho is lovely as usual, but what I love most is that you can help yourself to as many Vietnamese herbs as you'd like. I also had the Lime Lemongrass (25k), and they served the simple syrup on the side. Such a simple gesture, yet thoughtful. I love the ambience here. It can get pretty crowded around lunchtime since the tables are set quite close together, so I'd suggest coming after office hours instead. It really makes for a simple yet lovely dining experience.
View on GoogleMadame Mai at WTC Jakarta is the definitive spot for a quick, fresh, and exceptionally reliable Vietnamese lunch in the heart of the business district. It is one of my favorite lunch places, highly recommended for its efficiency and delicious food. Cuisine: Fresh, Flavorsome & Vegan-Friendly: The quality of the Vietnamese cuisine is consistently excellent. As a repeat visitor, I can attest that their food—including vegan Pho, Banh Mi, and Bun Cha—is all fresh, flavorsome, and delicious. It's hard to pick a favorite because the high standard is maintained across the board, making it an especially fantastic option for those seeking plenty of vegan options in Jakarta's central business area. Ambiance & Service: Built for Business Pace: The setting is perfectly calibrated for the WTC crowd: quick and functional. While the place is buzzing with patrons during peak lunch hour, the service is still quick, ensuring minimal wait time. The atmosphere successfully fits the busy life of office-goers, allowing you to grab a delicious meal and keep going with the pace of a busy workday. Value & Recommendation: Madame Mai shines in terms of value. The pricing and portion size offer good value for money, which is a major reason for its popularity for both small and big group lunches. If you are in the vicinity and haven't tried Madame Mai yet, I highly recommend it. It's not a reflective space for quiet conversation, but it is a great place for a quick bite with friends and colleagues on a busy day.
View on GoogleA cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for dining in. The food tastes delicious and is well worth the price. Definitely worth trying!
View on GooglePho taste very good every time. I find myself craving Madame Mai’s pho from time to time. During lunch hour it can be very crowded and the service is slow as it is packed. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand and order in advance if you can. Not suitable for business meeting as it is noisy during lunch hour. Definitely would recommend for a friendly lunch with friends and colleagues.
View on GoogleAs usual, I ordered my favorite Bun Ga Nuong at Madame Mai. The taste was good. I also tried the fried banana. It was so crunchy—a perfect combination with Vietnamese coffee. The place was quite full after office hour but I still found a spot in the corner.
