I really enjoyed the food. Everything we ordered was delicious, not a single dish disappointed us. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and perfect for a private dinner with my close friends. We booked one of the private rooms, which made it easy to relax and have long conversations in comfort. The room was cool, quiet, and the restaurant's interior felt like stepping into the home of Javanese nobility from a bygone era. It was a truly memorable dining experience.

I had a lovely dining experience at Kembang Goela Restaurant. From the moment we entered, everything felt elegant and well-presented, and the overall ambiance gave a refined and premium impression. The location is great and the restaurant itself is spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it perfect for family gatherings or special occasions. The food presentation looked luxurious and appetizing, and the taste was very good with rich Indonesian flavors. While the price is on the higher side, the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere make it feel worth it. Overall, a great place if you want a nice dining experience in a good location with delicious food and a classy vibe.

Kembang Goela, a Dutch-Indo fusion restaurant in Jakarta which concepts a unique and authentic culinary experience that beautifully blends the rich flavors of colonial Indonesian and Dutch cuisines. The location is easily accessible, though it may not be immediately recognizable from the main streets due to its positioning within a parking lot; making it a bit of a hidden gem for those who might not know where to look. Once inside, the restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. The food is unquestionably the highlight, with each dish expertly crafted to showcase the best of both culinary traditions. It’s a place where you can enjoy bold, rich flavors that feel both familiar and innovative at the same time. While the service is generally acceptable and efficient, there is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. A little more attention to detail in this area would elevate the overall dining experience even further. Despite this, the restaurant’s atmosphere and outstanding food make it a worthwhile destination for anyone in search of a distinctive fusion of flavors in Jakarta.

A high end Indonesian cuisine restaurant in Semanggi area. The building and decorations inside are awesome. The magical vintage Javanese amvience and atmosphere filled the air. This is the perfect place if you want to awe your guests with those decorations. The food, we tried nasi goreng, bakmie goreng, 1 meter long sausage, satay, fried chicken and crab salad. The food is pretty decent and well presented, but none is extraordinary in term of taste. This is a high end establishment so expect high end price as well. The service was fast and friendly, naturally. Depends on what your intentions when bringing your guests here. For tourists, the menu is pretty OK, standard and safety taste. But IMHO, local Indonesians would require more punch in terms of spices.
