Food & Drinks Review: Gula Aren Coffee – 3/5 The Gula Aren Coffee didn’t live up to expectations. The milk overpowered the coffee flavor, making it feel too diluted for my taste as a coffee lover. It’s okay for those who prefer milder, milk-heavy coffee, but otherwise, nothing special. Rose Lychee Sparkling – 3/5 This drink was refreshing but very standard. It tasted like your typical sparkling water with lychee syrup, nothing that would stand out. Kampoong Fried Rice – 1/5 A disappointment. The fried rice had a strong “cowy” smell that was hard to ignore, which affected the overall experience. While the taste was acceptable, the unpleasant smell made it unappealing. Calamari – 3/5 The calamari was average. It had the right texture but lacked any standout flavors. It was fine as a side dish but didn’t impress. Carnivora Pizza – 3/5 The pizza had plenty of meat toppings, but overall, it was just decent. The crust and overall flavor were satisfactory but not memorable. Overall, this cafe shines in its decoration and interior, offering a cozy and chic place to relax, work, or hang out. The service is good, but the internet and food quality leave room for improvement. It’s worth visiting for the atmosphere, but the menu and Wi-Fi might not live up to expectations if you’re a foodie or need fast internet for work.

Went here Saturday 2PM for bites with friend, place is a bit crowded but we still have seats. Located near Atma Jaya Semanggi, accessible by bus / metro and has parking space as well for cars / bikes. they offer western & Indonesian cuisine as well as coffee & other drinks. Place is very spacious, lots of indoor seatings but few outdoor seatings. Wifi is great and aircon is widespread, however there’s few electric plugs. I had their caffe latte and cheese sticks, they’re great and reasonably priced. They held Chinese language classes every week for members (need to register) and as we went here during the Lunar New Year, the owners kindly offered us freshly made dumplings (made inside this cafe!) which is a very kind gesture 🙏 Overall will come here again for light snack or coffee with friends whenever around.

At first I was confused about where to hang out for coffee on Saturday nights in the Setiabudi and Bendungan Hilir areas. Then I got a recommendation for this place even though I liked the building but didn't know if there was a cafe🙂 The place really has a good vibes and there are quite a lot of plugs for WFC, and the tables are not too close to each other. the price is still quite normal for cafes in the middle of Jakarta. Oh yes, the AC here is really cold because it uses central AC.

Decent matcha latte with very impressive latte art! Plenty of power outlets, so it's perfect for working remotely or simply for hanging out. The AC is cold, and the space is spacious, so it doesn’t feel cramped with other customers. The toilet is fairly clean. No prayer room available, you need to walk to the next building.
