The food here is really amazing and totally worth the price. Wouldn't call it an expensive place either. Love the mayo shrimp 🦐, came back for more. Truly delicious. Make sure you try the sauces also. The rest of the items we had were good as well. The 5 star bowl and the 7 star bowl, even the ladies bowl is decent. The Gayoza was only 2 pieces per plate, which might be a little less in quantity. The service is really good. Most cards work here including Amex. Just there's a small language barrier when talking in English, but still better than most places in Jakarta.
View on GoogleTenTen is mostly known for their tempura bowls, and honestly, the reputation makes sense. The food is genuinely good. They have several packages and combo deals, so it’s easy to choose depending on how hungry you are or how badly you want to financially justify ordering extra tempura. The ebi tempura is especially excellent. Crispy, light, and not overly oily. Easily one of the better ones I’ve had in this kind of casual Japanese restaurant setup. Personally, the egg tempura is my favorite. There’s just something deeply satisfying about cutting into that soft yolk and mixing it with the rice. Human beings really figured out peak comfort food and decided to wrap it in batter. The rice bowls are also filling enough to actually feel like a proper meal, not just decorative Japanese aesthetics pretending to feed you. Besides tempura bowls, they also serve ramen and other Japanese dishes, so there’s enough variety if you come with people craving different things. Overall, solid Japanese comfort food with surprisingly good tempura. Simple concept, executed really well.
View on Googleoffers good value for the price. The food was okay, simple and satisfying enough for a casual meal. The restaurant was empty when we visited, so the atmosphere was quiet and the service was quite fast. Overall, a decent option if you are looking for something affordable and convenient.
View on GoogleFood in general taste quite good, tempura batter also not super hard but still crispy enough for delicate eating. Ebi tempura also quite big and thick on meat which was a plus although rice portion questionable on the price asked. Karubi Nikudon also taste good, but this menu have a problem being a "cheapo" in terms of the meat cut being used not a Karubi or even plated like in the menu book, not to mention the reviewer photoshoot beside us get the same exact portion and plating like menu book. So a complain was obviously being made regarding the difference. Complain was handled by supervisor reasonably enough to keep this review from going 2 stars. Hopefully the meat cuts and presentation/portion can be fixed promptly in the future. We'll be back if things already get better/fixed.
View on GoogleTenTen at Lotte Mall is a nice place for Japanese tempura. The food is crispy, fresh, and served hot. The flavors are balanced and the presentation looks good. The restaurant feels clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. A good spot to enjoy Japanese food in the mall.
