Here’s a longer, more thorough, but still natural and easy-to-read review: --- I visited **Pho Baba Lotte Mall Jakarta** for dinner and was actually quite surprised that it wasn’t as crowded as I expected. The atmosphere felt relaxed and comfortable, which made the whole dining experience more enjoyable compared to the usual busy mall restaurants. I ordered the signature pho, and it really delivered. The broth was the highlight — it had that balance of being light yet rich at the same time. It didn’t feel too heavy or overpowering, but still had enough depth and flavor to keep it interesting until the last spoon. It’s the kind of broth that feels clean but still satisfying. The noodles were also well done. They were cooked to the right doneness, still slightly chewy and not soggy, which is something I personally look for in a good bowl of pho. The meat and meatballs weren’t overly generous in portion, but I’d say they were still decent and proportionate to the overall dish. It didn’t feel lacking, but don’t expect an overly loaded bowl either. Overall, the balance of flavors and textures worked really well together. Nothing felt out of place, and everything came together as a solid, comforting bowl of pho. Considering the quality, I’d say the pricing is fair and makes sense for what you get, especially given the location in Lotte Mall. It’s not cheap, but it feels justified. All in all, it was a very satisfying experience. A great spot if you’re craving a well-executed, comforting bowl of pho in Jakarta — and definitely somewhere I’d come back to.
View on GoogleVietnamese restaurant at Lotte Mall. Pho Ba Ba is a semi self service restaurant selling Vietnamese pho noodles, sandwiches, rice, salad, glass noodles and more. Pho Ga taste just average. Taste is average. Price is moderate. Ambience is great. Place is clean. Semi self service.
View on GoogleThis place serves big pho! My family went there and we loves the many healthy selection of the dishes. The price is also affordable compared to others in this mall. One thing we need to avoid as the have ornaments hanging on the ceiling, which we believe a bit hard to clean, dust might affect you or your family if they have dust allergy like me and my son. Hopefully, they have a solution in the near future.
View on GoogleI am surprised why the restaurant has such a high rating. Atmosphere left me slightly disappointed, it feels more like food court than a restaurant, but with restaurant prices. You need to come and grab food you’re interested in yourself. I feel like I am paying for the service that doesn’t really exist. Then, the food. Because is cooked beforehand, most of it is cold. All meat and chicken skewers that we got were not pleasant to eat because of this. Pho was hot and actually not bad, but didn’t contained a lot of meat and wasn’t that reach in flavour . Fresh spring rolls had so little shrimp that I could barely taste it. I can’t recommend the place.
