Ramen was good, what I like about this restaurant is I can add raw garlic as many as I want into my ramen and no one will judge me because I squish them myself (tool is available on the table!) 😋
View on GoogleThe broth is amazingly thick, and comforting. I suggest you grind some garlic they serve on your table to make the broth more flavourfull. Overall good ramen
View on GoogleMenya Ramen is a must-try, but skip the pork and go straight for the chicken options. The Shio Chicken Ramen is the star: light yet deeply savory, with a flavor that truly feels like authentic street-side ramen in Kyoto. Simple, honest, and very genuine. Don’t miss the chicken karaage either perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. If you’re looking for an authentic chicken ramen experience, this place is definitely worth a visit
View on GoogleI usually eat this ramen brand at Kota Kasablanka and just found out recently that they also have an outlet in Lotte. Strangely enough, some of the photos or reviews are the ones in Kota Kasablanka, so maybe some people got it mixed up. Both outlet provides the same quality of food though, so it's good that they kept their standard. The recommendation would be to order the Spicy Tonkotsu Chashu-men (four cutlet of meat rather than two). If you can't handle spicy food, just order the regular Tonkotsu Chashu-men. No need to bother with the Tori-ramen (chicken), why would you do that if you're already in this restaurant? Unless you don't eat pork, of course. The service is almost as good as the one in Kota Kasablanka. The food also came quite quickly. It's located above the atrium(?) so if there are events with music it's quite noisy. Side dish is also a good addition. If there are two of you, a karaage (fried chicken) is nice option to eat before the ramen is served. Once you are finished, drink cold Ocha to clean your palate because the food is very savory.
View on GoogleAnother familiar ramen experience — but what’s the real hook here? 😜 I’ve come across many ramen spots like this, and most of them share a pretty similar taste and flavor. So it got me wondering — what makes this one stand out? We tried: Tonkotsu (Pork) Char Siu Ramen Tori (Chicken) Shio Ramen Grilled Chicken Gyoza The chicken ramen broth was simple and quite standard — it actually reminded me of meatball soup back home in Makassar ☺️. The chicken pieces were a bit small — not exactly generous, to be honest 😅. And the gyoza? Average. Predictable flavor, nothing surprising there. 😞 For the Price, it sits somewhere in the middle — not expensive, but definitely not cheap either. As for coming back? Let’s just say… I’ll think about it carefully before my next visit 😜
