I love nasi lemak, so I’m always eager to try a new place, especially if it looks nice. Unfortunately, my visit here was a bit frustrating. When we sat at the table, the waiter handed us physical menus alongside a digital tablet for ordering. Oddly, the tablet marked the nasi lemak as "Sold Out." I decided to ask the waitress about it anyway. After checking with the kitchen, she came back, told us it was actually available, and swapped our tablet for a working one. I was finally able to order, and the food arrived quite quickly, featuring a unique purple rice. While the sambal was good, the fried chicken was unfortunately way too salty for my taste. Just not my lucky day, I guess! The confusion continued when my friend spotted "Roedjak Penang" on the physical menu, but could only find "Roedjak Singapore" on the digital list. Knowing they are entirely different places, we asked the staff, only to be told it was the exact same dish. They definitely need to fix these system discrepancies for a smoother customer experience. While the restaurant is undeniably comfortable and has a great vibe, the food—both the nasi lemak and the roedjak—unfortunately missed the mark.
