We are traveling as a family of four and was looking forward to our stay at the Raffles Jakarta. There were good reviews about this place but the reality couldn't be further from the truth. We arrived at 9am and were offered an a-la carte menu on top of the buffet. My wife and children ordered some and by 9:30 we were still waiting for a couple of them. In the meantime, the buffet table serving the main dishes remained empty. The most disappointing part of this experience is the attitude of the head chef. When I tried speaking to him, he refused to acknowledge and respond. All he seemed to be doing was directly preparing the a-la carte dishes. Frankly, his job is to manage the OPERATIONS . The pancakes, bakmi jawa and bubur ayam are not the job of a head chef. Seriously, we get a better buffet in a 3 star kitchen in Bangkok. PS: the photos show the empty dishes trays at 9am. They were still empty at 9:40am.

came here for a special occasion and raffles jakarta did not disappoint. the food quality is genuinely top notch, the menu isn’t the widest, but every dish is crafted with care and you can taste it. the vibe is perfect for something meaningful. elegant but never stiff. what really stood out was the people. every single staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. special shoutout to mas novan who went above and beyond for us, that kind of service is truly appreciated. highly recommend for any special occasion. we’ll be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The service was excellent. We were having our special day and the team prepared us a small gift and a special dessert. While the foods and drinks were great I feel there are room for improvement. I feel that the variety of food is lacking, and the display feels empty except the stalls. There are no sushi on display and seafood. I feel that some fresh seafood in the regular buffet will enhance the experience. Overall, I am pleased at my visit. This time, I feel that service is better than the food, and that is amazing.

Spending our anniversary at Arts Cafe Butcher’s Table—totally worth it 🤍! Huge thanks to the amazing Danielle for decorating, bringing a cake, and making our anniversary moment so special. We truly felt celebrated and cared for. As always, never disappointed with Raffles’ food—it’s always so damn gewddd!

An incredible restaurant experience. We have had breakfast here for 5 days while staying at the hotel. The food has been exemplary, but the service is what blew us away. Very attentive. They remember our names and which table we liked. Our coffee order. Just incredible. Also for my birthday they prepared me a special plate which is what they do for an Indonesian birthday. Loved this place. Can’t wait to return here.
